Children ages 7-12 are invited to celebrate Presidents' Day at the History Center of Niagara County from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17.

The program, "Children of the White House," will take a look at what it was like growing up as a child in the White House. Activities include matching the children with their presidential fathers; playing games and making a toy to take home; being Secret Service agents trying to find the kids who are hiding; learning about what happened to the kids when they grew up; and enjoying a special "presidential" snack.

The cost of the program is $10 per child. Reservations are required. Parents are encouraged to leave their children for the duration of the program. Call or email the History Center at 716-434-7433 or [email protected] for reservations and more information.

The History Center, part of the Niagara County Historical Society, is located at 215 Niagara St, Lockport.
