Sabres recall McNabb, assign players to Rochester

Grigorenko loaned to Quebec; Hodgson activated from IR

The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled defenseman Brayden McNabb from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. The team also announced several other roster moves: Forward Johan Larsson and defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen have been assigned to the Americans; forward Mikhail Grigorenko has been loaned to the Quebec Remparts (QMJHL) and forward Cody Hodgson has been activated from IR. 

McNabb (age 22, 6'4", 207 lbs.) re-joins the Sabres after being assigned to Rochester yesterday to play in the Amerks' game against the Hamilton Bulldogs. He is tied with Chad Ruhwedel to lead all Amerks defensemen with 15 points (3 goals, 12 assists) in 20 AHL games this season. McNabb, who has played in seven games with the Sabres in 2013-14, has recorded eight points (1/7) in 32 career NHL games. The Sabres drafted the Davidson, Saskatchewan, native in the third round (66th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
