Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce fills board positions, hires administrative assistant

At the November board meeting of the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, elections were held to fill open positions. New board members elected to serve three-year terms are Cindy Chamberlain of Black Willow Winery, Melissa Morinello of Sparkle! Marketing and Events, and Greg Schlaich of Minuteman Press of Downtown Buffalo. Members re-elected to fulfill three-year terms are Gloria Baker of First Niagara Bank, Jeff Stolar of Gorge Travel, Margaret Toohey of The Lewiston Insurance Agency, and George Osborne of Artpark.

The Village of Lewiston has asked Stacey Sheehan to serve as the village liaison in an ex-officio position.

The directors elected to serve as officers on the executive board include Richard J. Haight of Advanced Design Group as chairman, Kenneth Scibetta of the Lewiston Village Pub & Restaurant as first vice chairman, Fred Blue of Great Lakes Real Estate as second vice chairman, Justin Tedesco of Tedesco Construction Services Inc. as treasurer, and Kristen Trunzo of Harold F. Hibbard & Sons Inc. as secretary.

The Chamber of Commerce has hired Marlo Briglio of Lewiston to fulfill the part-time administrative assistant position. She has extensive experience in sales management, administrative office management and communications, and she is a highly effective organizer in fundraising events.
