Chris Castellani, owner of Supermarket Liquors & Wines, and patrons of his store, located at 8438 Niagara Falls Blvd., made a major donation to the Toys for Tots Program just before the holidays. Castellani donated $3,000 to Toys for Tots, while his customers contributed $425 into a donation barrel on site.

Toys for Tots is a nonprofit organization run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, said Sgt. Keshia Toro, Western New York Toys for Tots coordinator.

"Last year, we collected over 44,000 toys and were able to assist over 22,000 children," Toro said.
