The Historic Riviera Theatre presents "The Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Tour" starring Neil Sedaka, Lesley Gore and Frankie Avalon on Friday, April 11, 2014, at 8 p.m.

Sedaka established himself in 1958 and churned out hits from 1960-62. His flow of Top 30 hits during this period included "Stairway to Heaven," "You Mean Everything to Me," "Calendar Girl," "Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen," "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" and "Next Door to an Angel." When not recording his own songs, he and Howard Greenfield were writing for other performers such as Connie Francis and Jimmy Clanton.

Gore's first hit, "It's My Party," was followed by many other hits, including the sequel "Jody's Turn to Cry," "She's a Fool" and "You Don't Own Me." She also recorded "Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows" from the 1965 movie "Ski Party." Gore composed songs for the soundtrack of the 1980 film "Fame," for which she received an Academy Award nomination for "Out Here on My Own."

Avalon recorded "Venus" and "Why" in 1959, which went to No. 1 on Billboard. Singles from 1958 to 1962 included "Just Ask Your Heart," "I'll Wait For You," "Bobbysox to Stockings" and "A Boy Without a Girl." Avalon starred in a number of popular "beach party" comedy films during the mid-1960s with Annette Funicello, including "Beach Party" and "Beach Blanket Bingo."

Tickets are priced at $69. For more information, call the Riviera Theatre box office at 716-692-2413 or order online at www.rivieratheatre.org.

The Historic Riviera Theatre is located at 67 Webster St., North Tonawanda.
