Buffalo Sabres President of Hockey Operations Pat LaFontaine today announced the team has recalled defenseman Brayden McNabb from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

McNabb (age 22, 6'4", 207 lbs.), who was assigned to Rochester yesterday after being called up by the Sabres on Nov. 20, tallied three points (1 goal, 2 assists) for the Amerks last night in the team's 6-1 rout of the Utica Comets. In 28 career NHL games, McNabb has recorded eight points (1/7) and 15 penalty minutes. He was drafted by the Sabres in the third round (66th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Buffalo in May 2011.
