The Town of Porter Historical Society invites residents to a presentation featuring acclaimed sculptress Susan Geissler on Monday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Youngstown Red Brick School Village Center, 240 Lockport St.
Geissler, an anatomical illustrator, graphic designer and art history researcher, will share her insight and background into the creation of her local works, including the Freedom Crossing Monument in Lewiston, her sculpture work in Youngstown, and the Tuscarora Heroes Monument, which will be unveiled Dec. 19.
