Paul and Paula Mayers of Lockport have won a handmade Amish quilt in the Niagara History Center's 25th annual quilt drawing. This year's quilt was a double-wedding-ring pattern of black and red on a white background.

The drawing for the quilt, made by Amish craftsmakers in the Southern Tier, was held at the History Center's Oktoberfest, Saturday, Oct. 12, at South Lockport Firehall. The quilt drawing has become the grand finale of the Oktoberfest since the event's inception three years ago.
