Christopher Brown, Anthony Eugeni named to Mount St. Mary's Hospital board of trustees

Christopher H. Brown, CPA, of Brown & Company Certified Public Accountants, and Anthony L. Eugeni, senior partner at Damon Morey Attorneys at Law, have been appointed to the board of trustees of Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center. Carmen A. Granto, chairman of the board, announced the appointments for three-year terms.

Brown, of Niagara Falls, graduated from Niagara University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He earned his New York state certified public accountants license in 1979 and worked for the international accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company until co-founding Brown & Company in 1981. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and has been active in numerous community groups and organizations over the years. Most recently, he has served as board chairman of Artpark & Company.

Eugeni, of the Town of Niagara, is a member of Damon Morey's business and corporate department and is chair of the firm's finance committee. He graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988, as well as the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1991. Since 2009, he has been named to The Best Lawyers in America in the field of corporate law. Additionally, Eugeni is very active in the Niagara Falls Boys' and Girls' Club, where he is president and a member of the Club's board of directors.

Other members of the board of trustees include: Dena Armstrong, treasurer/assistant vice president with Sevenson Environmental Services; William J. Bradberry; Lloyd W. Brown, M.D., exigence of team health; Donald J. Largo Jr., M.D.; Judith A. Maness, hospital president and CEO; Joseph McDonald, president and CEO of Catholic Health Buffalo; Robert A. Minicucci Sr., president of Health System Services; Sr. Kathleen Natwin, DC; Sr. Marilyn Perkins, DC; Robert J. Travis, CPA, of Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner LLP, as vice chairman and treasurer; Michael L. Vitch, president/owner of Compu-Mail; and Deborah J. Winslow-Schraber, director of human resources at Canisius College;

Robert Gadawski, M.D., president of the medical staff, is that group's representative on the board. Domonic F. Falsetti, M.D., is chief of staff.
