Grand Island Chamber of Commerce: Prizes rolling out for 30 Days of Giveaways Web promotion

The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce is holding 30 Days of Giveaways from Oct. 1 to 30.

On Thursday, June 6, at the Grand Island Chamber Website Launch Party, Fahim Mojawalla, the chamber's media director, introduced 30 Days of Giveaways as a way for local businesses to increase their exposure with clients. Log on to the chamber website and register for a chance to win the giveaway of the day. Each day will be a different giveaway, and in order to find out what is being given out that day, you have to log on. A different valuable prize will be given away, totaling more than $3,000 in prizes.

On opening day of the contest, Oct. 1, the first prize that was given away was from Grand Island Dance Center, for free registration and one free class, a $65 value. The chamber congratulated Jennifer Kopf for winning Day 1. The prize that was given away on Oct. 2 was from Dana's Stylin' Pets, $50 of grooming services. The chamber congratulated Jennifer R. Klima for winning Day 2.
