Join the Historical Association of Lewiston as its presents "18th Century Tavern Music" with Ron Cary. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Water Street Landing, 115 S. Water St.

Accomplished singer and guitarist Cary is from the Niagara County Historian's Office. He will perform period songs from the 1700s and offer interpretation of their meanings and past and present versions, as well as clothing and fashion and the musical performance practices of the time.

A brief summary on the history of what is now Water Street Landing will compliment the musical program.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

This program was so popular the last time Cary performed (standing-room-only), that HAL needed a larger venue.
