"American Made Movie" screening serves as backdrop for announcement

Atlanta. Chicago. Los Angeles. New York City. Philadelphia. Buffalo.

Buffalo?

Yes, Buffalo made the short list of American cities that are screening a national documentary called "American Made Movie," in part due to the true-life role played by the film's protagonist, Mark Andol, owner and founder of General Welding & Fabricating and the Made in America Store.

The general public can view the film tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Dipson Theatre in the Eastern Hills Mall. The film has entertained and educated audiences across the U.S. Wednesday's public screening will serve as the backdrop for Andol's next announcement.

"Shopping malls from across the U.S. have approached us to locate a Made in America Store in their mall. The strongest proposal, by far, came from a mall right in the backyard of our two other locations - our original flagship Made in America Store in Elma, and our all-American souvenir shop at One Niagara in Niagara Falls, which just opened in April," Andol said. "I am pleased to announce that our third brick and mortar Made in America Store will be opening at Eastern Hills Mall this fall, just in time for holiday shopping and the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Through serendipity, it's the same mall screening the recently released documentary this Wednesday."

The "American Made Movie" tells the story of entrepreneurs and companies that went against the tide of outsourcing jobs overseas. For Andol, what started as a mission statement to save and create good-paying American jobs has played a key role in turning the tide - and the nation's awareness - to the reality that consumers - with their buying power of 70 percent of GDP - have the power to bring back America's best years of economic prosperity and livelihoods for all Americans.

"Everything we do at the Made in America Store is for country, for soldier and for the American worker," Andol said. "Our brick and mortar stores, e-commerce sites, tour bus marketing, mobile stores and special events at our Elma location serve one multi-faceted purpose: making the U.S. economy strong again, growing the American middle class, and supplying the world with the very best in technology, innovation and product development, designed and manufactured in America.

The "American Made Movie: was produced by Life is My Movie Entertainment. The producers/directors are Nathaniel Thomas McGill and Vincent Vittorio. It is their second major documentary, following on the success of "An Inconvenient Tax.

Tickets are available online and they can be purchased directly though the event website at http://www.tugg.com/events/5481 or at the Dipson Theatre box office.
