Lewiston Council on the Arts presents 'Art of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle'

As part of the Lewiston Discovery Series, the Lewiston Council on the Arts will present the "Art of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle" at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Historic Lewiston Opera Hall, 732 Center St.

 Bruce Aiken, president of An Irish Secret Society of Buffalo, has written more than 20 papers on Sherlock Holmes and will delight mystery lovers and Holmes fans alike. Aiken will explore little known connections between Holmes, his creator Arthur Conan Doyle, and the Niagara Frontier.

Light refreshments will be available for purchase. No advance registration is required. Admission is $5 for guests and free to LCA members.
