The following activity occurred Monday, Aug. 12, to Sunday, Aug. 18, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 91 response calls during this period.

Monday, Aug. 12

•5400 block of Bridgeman Road, suspicious person. Patrol checked area with negative results.

•4400 block of Autumn Lane, burglary in progress. Statement taken from a female, 59. Report filed.

•5300 block of Chew Road, officer requested. Patrol spoke with a female regarding texts she had been receiving from her mother. No crime occurred; party advised.

•900 block of Center Street, property damage accident. Suspect's vehicle unknown. No report.

•5300 block of Bridgeman Road, citizen assist. Complainant reported a "works bomb" was thrown on the lawn sometime during the night and wanted to make patrol aware.

•4500 block of Washington Drive, domestic. Female listed as complainant and male as a suspect. Charges/paperwork filed for the suspect who was GOA. Report filed.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

•1800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, check welfare. Male, 52, voluntarily taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical center for a mental health evaluation.

•Bronson and The Circle drives, suspicious vehicle. Driver reported looking for houses for sale. Plate number logged; all OK.

•600 block of Tuscarora Street, animal problem. Fox in area; GOA.

•Locations on the 800 block of Seneca Street, South Eight Street, South Fourth Street and South Eighth and Cayuga streets, Alcohol Beverage Control violations. Patrol reported the arrests of the following on open container violations: a male, 31; a male (no age listed); a male, 27; a male, 36; a female, 23; and two males, both 54. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Reports filed.

•100 block of South Eighth Street, public lewdness. Male, 49, placed under arrest. Report filed.

•800 block of Center Street, intoxicated driver-arrest at a gas/convenience business. Patrol reports the arrest of a 26-year old female for driving while intoxicated and related charges after she was observed filling her gas tank while drinking a beer. The female then attempted to leave when patrol pulled into the parking lot. Blood Alcohol Content testing performed; BAC result, .11 of 1 percent. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Portage Road, vehicle/traffic stop-arrest. Male, 43, arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana. Driver released on appearance and uniform traffic tickets for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•1400 block of Ridge Road, suspicious person. Caller reported a group of males tampering with a vehicle. All males GOA; no damage found.

•Fourth and Center streets, vehicle/traffic stop-arrest. Two males, ages 22 and 20, arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana. LPD K-9 unit search of vehicle conducted. Appearance tickets issued to both for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

Wednesday, Aug. 14

•300 block of South Eighth Street, check welfare. Male party found asleep in his vehicle. Subject told patrol he was too tired to drive home. All OK.

•600 block of Sara Court, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a female, 53. Stolen property recovered; report filed.

•800 block of Cayuga Street, check situation at a storage business. Patrol spoke with a juvenile who reported finding a purse full of syringes. Items secured; all OK.

•800 block of Orchard Drive, check welfare. Patrol spoke with two males; verbal argument reported. All OK.

•Mohawk Street, reckless driver. Patrol spoke with an elderly female driver; review filed.

•400 block of Roosevelt Avenue, intoxicated driver. Caller reported a male subject had parked his vehicle and was seen stumbling towards the Robert Moses Parkway. Male, 47, located by patrol and placed under arrest on the following charges: driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation from previous DWIs and criminally using drug paraphernalia, second. Crack pipe found by patrol. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court; bail of $1,000/$2,000 assigned.

Thursday, Aug. 15

•Plethcer and Harold roads, suspicious person. Male on location sent on his way.

•200 block of South Third Street, criminal mischief. Male, 71, reported a beer bottle thrown through the window. Investigation to continue.

•500 block of Irving Drive, check welfare. Intoxicated female out of control. Handled by patrol.

•Water Street, Youngstown, agency assist. LPD on location with State Police on a trespass call. Three subjects in custody.

•Addresses on the 500 block of Briarwood Lane and the 600 block of Park Lane, criminal mischief complaints. No further details.

•600 block of Lockport Street, Youngstown, domestic. LPD on location to assist NCSO. All OK.

•5000 block of Walmore Road, unwanted person. Handled by patrol.

Friday, Aug. 16

•300 block of Niagara Street, drug offense. Patrol reported responding to the address on a burglary in progress call. Investigation revealed a male, 33, and a female, 34, to be in possession of a cocaine and a crack pipe. Both suspects charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh; and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, second. Appearance tickets issued to both for Lewiston Town Court. Female suspect remanded to NCSO on a warrant. Report filed.

•500 block of Mohawk Street, possible abduction of a child. Female, 31, listed on call. Patrol reported negative results on abduction.

•5400 block of Elm Drive, animal problem. Coyote seen in yard; patrol advised resident that such sightings are normal.

Saturday, Aug. 17

4200 block of Williams Road, criminal mischief to a vehicle. Male, 18, listed as victim; suspect unknown.

•4200 block of Calkins Road, criminal mischief to a vehicle. Male, 18, listed as victim; suspect unknown.

•900 block of Center Street, harassment complaint at a supermarket. Male juvenile as a victim and male juvenile listed as a suspect. Male and female also listed on call.

•400 block of North Fifth Street, criminal mischief. Female, 46, reported her vehicle was egged. Suspect unknown. Report filed.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, larceny involving use of a bad credit card at a gas/convenience business. LPD assisted State Police on call.

•800 block of Hillside Drive, criminal mischief. Male, 18, reported his vehicle was egged.

•5300 block of Townline Road, stolen ATV. Male listed as complainant and second male listed as victim. Complaint entered into county system; report filed.

Sunday, Aug. 18

•Robert Street and Colt Avenue, MVA. Male driver taken to EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center with a foot injury. Vehicle secured. Report filed.

•2200 block of Upper Mountain Road, domestic. Male, 41, and female, 34, listed on call. Report filed.

•5300 block of Military Road, mental health response. Female, 25, listed on call.

•700 block of Center Street, domestic. Female, 20, listed as complainant and male, 18, listed as suspect. Male arrested on charges of assault second, criminal obstruction of an airway and for unlawful imprisonment. Report filed.

•4700 block of Lower River Road, hit-run accident. Female, 16, listed as victim; suspect unknown. Report filed.
