Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue seeks to continue its momentum from the recent Lewiston Art Festival with a presence during the Lewiston Jazz Festival on Friday, Aug. 23 (from 5 to 8 p.m.), and again on Saturday, Aug. 24 (from noon to 8 p.m.) The rescue will be set up on the front lawn of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, at the corner of North Seventh and Center streets (across from Orange Cat), with adoptable animals and original rescue artwork, which is available for purchase and supports Heart of Niagara.
Volunteers will also work on parade decorations and sign up to walk with Heart of Niagara's float in the upcoming Lewiston Peach Festival parade. Everyone is welcome help. To join the Heart of Niagara team and can lend a hand, email [email protected] or call Linda van Harssel at 716-622-1213.
