Kaegebein Playground Committee raises $ at Fun Fest

Members of the Kaegebein Playground Committee served up hot dogs, chips and water during a fundraiser July 20 at the Grand Island Fun Fest, held at Say Cheese Pizza Company.

Playground Committee member Dick Crawford said the group has raised $10,000 of an estimated $80,000 needed for a new playground at the school on Love Road.

According to Dave Brand, committee president, the group plans a craft and dessert show fundraiser in November.
