New Yorkers rappel the tallest hotel in Niagara Falls for Special Olympics New York

Would you be brave enough to scale 27 stories? Nearly 100 adventurous individuals will put their endurance to the test Friday as they rappel 357 feet down the Seneca Niagara Casino for Over the Edge, a fundraiser put on by Special Olympics New York. To partake in this daring feat, participants were asked to raise at least $1,000, with all proceeds from the fundraiser benefiting the athletes of Special Olympics New York.

Special Olympics New York provides year-round sports training and competition in 22 Olympic-style sports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities at no cost to the athletes, their families or caregivers. Almost 62,000 athletes train and compete with Special Olympics New York, the largest Special Olympics program in North America.
