The following incidents occurred from June 17 to June 23, as reported by the Grand Island Fire Co. A total of 22 calls were answered by the department during this period. The GIFC has now responded to 633 calls so far this year.

Monday, June 17

•1:06 a.m., Center Terrace, first aid - medical call.

•9 a.m., Webb Road, first aid - trauma call.

•11:07 a.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - medical call.

•6:30 p.m., Fix Road, fire call - assist citizens with control of utilities.

Tuesday, June 18

•11:47 a.m., West River Road, first aid - trauma call.

•3:41 p.m., Waterford Park, first aid - medical call.

•6:29 p.m., Thruway North, first aid - trauma call.

Wednesday, June 19

•3:44 a.m., Calvano Drive, first aid - trauma call.

•8:53 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, fire call - vehicle fire.

Thursday, June 20

•No calls.

Friday, June 21

•2:17 a.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - medical call.

•8:40 a.m., Waterford Park, officers call - alarm malfunction.

•12:56 p.m., Lang Boulevard, fire call - accidental alarm. (Avoidable.)

•1:52 p.m., Woodstock Road, first aid - medical call.

Saturday, June 22

•6:53 a.m., Lockport Road, Town of Niagara, mutual aid - standby in the Town of Niagara for firefighter funeral.

•10:59 a.m., Carriage Lane, automatic mutual aid to Upper Mountain Fire Co. Accidental alarm.

•11:50 a.m., Military Road, Town of Niagara, automatic mutual aid to Niagara Active Hose (trauma call).

Sunday, June 23

•3:25 a.m., Whitehaven Road, fire call - accidental alarm. (Avoidable.)

•8:11 p.m., Old Lakeshore Road, marine call - multi-agency search and rescue drill.

•12:18 p.m., Stony Point Road, first aid - medical call.

•6:18 p.m., Staley Road, first aid - trauma call.

•8:41 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - trauma call.

•8:59 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - trauma call.
