For the first time ever, "The Price Is Right," daytime television's most-watched program, is inviting children to "come on down" and play with their parents in a special kids episode, Friday, May 3 (11 a.m.), on the CBS Television Network. (Note: The episode date was changed to accommodate CBS news coverage).
The special episode - one of the fans' most requested - will feature children playing with their parents at "Contestants' Row" and participating in the show's famous prizing games, including "Let 'Em Roll," "Secret X" and "Plinko." They will have the opportunity to play for prizes, which kids and parents can enjoy together, including a set of video game consoles, a backyard trampoline, a pair of go-karts, an overnight zoo experience and a family vacation.
"Having the kids in this episode gave the show an exciting energy we've never seen in the studio before," said executive producer Mike Richards. "The vibe was electric and it also brought out the kid in Drew too!"
