A local Village of Lewiston resident has been named as the new co-host on The Shooting Channel.

International firearms instructor, author and magazine columnist Dan Meadows was recently named as a new co-host on The Shooting Channel by Michele Rahal (president of Mediavalue Inc. and The Shooting Channel) and Jeff Lymburner (CEO of Mediavalue Inc.).

The Shooting Channel is a BlogTalkRadio media production. It hosts a weekly talk show on Mondays at 7 p.m. ET. The Shooting Channel covers the world of sport shooting, firearms training, home/self defense, women's self-defense, hunting, tactical and law enforcement issues, firearm laws and more. The Shooting Channel radio program reaches thousands of listeners each and every week, and continues to grow with its audience following.

The Shooting Channel can be found online at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theshootingchannel.

Meadows, who is a Village of Lewiston resident, is the CEO and owner of TAP3X Group of Companies (www.tap3x-training.com). He is known as "The Shooting Whisperer" for his abilities to guide, teach and to train all shooters (firearms and bow) on how to "Put It On Target." He is a highly trained and certified expert of firearms, archery and edged weapons, as well as a technical consultant for all types of firearms, bows, knives and tactical weapons usage. Meadows travels extensively around the world to train, coach and to consult others on firearms and archery marksmanship, multiple weapons training programs, survival, and in emergency preparedness.

The Shooting Channel hosts live radio talk shows each and every Monday night. It also provides on-demand episodes. Listeners can also call-in live and speak with one of the show's hosts and ask questions about firearms, firearms training, ammunition, gun laws, gun rights, self defense, the Second Amendment and more.

Meadows, his wife, Lynda, and their Jack Russell terrier, Charlie, have been residents in the Village of Lewiston and Western New York for the past several years.

"This is an exciting opportunity for me. I was contacted to be a guest on a live radio show back in February of 2013 and, several shows later, I was asked to become one of the co-hosts for The Shooting Channel. How great is that, eh?" Meadows said.

Meadows is joined each week by co-cost Michele Rahal.
