Dr. Malik to join Niagara Falls Memorial Family Practice Residency Program faculty

Joshua Malik, D.O., will join the faculty of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center's Osteopathic Family Practice Residency Program and become a member of Memorial's outpatient primary care team at the Summit Healthplex.

The announcement was made Wednesday by Sanjay Chadha, Memorial's vice president for service line operations.

Malik is completing residency training in Family Medicine at Niagara Falls Memorial, where he serves as chief resident. A graduate of Michigan State University and the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami, he previously received post-graduate residency training in Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Wyandotte, Mich.

Malik is a member of the American Osteopathic Association of Physicians, American Medical Association and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

In his new role, which will begin this summer, Malik will supervise and mentor family practice resident physicians in both outpatient and inpatient settings. In addition, he will diagnose and treat patients at the Summit Family Health Center.
