Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announces a free rabies clinic will be held from 3 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at North Buffalo Community Center, 203 Sanders Road, Buffalo.

You can bring your dog, cat or ferret.

"We must protect families and their pets from rabies, and these free clinics are a great way to do that," Poloncarz said. "I encourage pet owners around the county to take advantage of this program by bringing their pet to the clinic, either on a leash or in a carrier, and if possible to bring along the animal's vaccination record as well."
