Voutour elected third VP of state Sheriffs' Association

Niagara County Sheriff James Voutour was elected third vice president of the New York State Sheriffs' Association at the 79th annual Winter Training Conference this week in Albany. Above, Lt. Gov. Robert J. Duffy (left) with Sheriff Voutour following the swearing-in ceremony.

The New York State Sheriffs' Association Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation, formed in 1934, for the purpose of assisting sheriffs throughout the state in the efficient and effective delivery of sheriffs' services to the public. It comprises all of the elected and appointed sheriffs of New York state.
