Veterans, 55 years of age or older, can learn how to play shuffleboard, table tennis, checkers and dominoes at a sports clinic being held Wednesday, Nov. 14, at VA Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo.
These sports are three of the sports in which more than 800 veterans from all over the U.S. will compete in ambulatory, visually-impaired and wheelchair divisions, according to their ages, during the National Veterans Golden Age Games coming to in Buffalo May 30 to June 4, 2013.
The sports clinic taking place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Freedom Hall will help veterans to brush up on their skills or learn new ones in preparation for the 2013 games.
