Prior to the Town of Porter Historical Society meeting in Ransomville last week, Doug Diez, on behalf of the Ransomville Country Cruisers, made several check presentations. A check for $200 was presented to the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co., and the Ransomville Historical Preservation Room, the Ransomville Library and the Ransomville Food Bank each received $150. The money was raised during the super cruise held Aug. 18 on the library grounds.
