Robert Rogers will present "Live a Life of No Regrets" at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 2100 Baseline Road, on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
Rogers is the author of "Into the Deep: One Man's Story of How Tragedy Took His Family But Could Not Take His Faith." Rogers lost his wife and three children in a flash flood in Kansas in 2003.

A stuffed companion collection drive is ongoing on the Island.
Sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 652, the drive supports Grand Island emergency medical services responders and Women's and Children's Hospital in Buffalo. New and like new stuffed companions are being collected at Grand Island Town Hall, Grand Island Fire Co. headquarters, the main lobby of St. Stephen R.C. Church, and at Grand Island Tops Market. The drive continues through Oct. 14.
