Chow down at Adams' Farmers Breakfast

Fall has arrived, and so has Adams Volunteer Fire Co.'s Farmers Breakfast, now in its third year.

On Sunday, Oct. 14, this all-you-can-eat food fest will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Adams firehall, 7113 Nash Road, Wheatfield.

New this year is a special surprise that changes every month, plus all the regular favorites, such as eggs, sausage, ham, fruit, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, dessert, pastries, coffee, tea, juice, and milk.

In order to provide vital fire and EMS services, the fire company must raise funds to cover increasing operational expenses due to rising costs for fuel, utilities, equipment, and apparatus.

Cost for adults and children 12 and up is $9, for children ages 6 to 11 it's $5, and children age 5 and under eat free.

Breakfasts are held on the second Sunday of the month. Remaining dates for 2012 are Nov. 11 and Dec. 9. For 2013, it's Jan. 13, Feb. 10 and March 10.
