Miss Bev's sponsors 'National Dance Day' celebration

Miss Bev's Dance Studio will sponsor its third annual "National Dance Day" celebration on Saturday, July 28. This day has been created to encourage people of all ages to get out and enjoy all that dance has to offer.

"We at Miss Bev's believe so much in the power of dance that we are opening up our studio to everyone who loves dance," organizers said.

On July 28, Miss Bev will hold two free dance workshops - no prior dance experience is necessary. Both workshops will be held at Miss Bev's Dance Studio, located at 1814 Pine Ave., in Niagara Falls. The workshop for children ages 6 to 12 runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; the workshop for children ages 13 and up takes place from 2 to 4 p.m.

Both boys and girls are welcome to attend. Last year, organizers had more than 50 dancers participate. At the workshops, dancers will learn jazz and hip-hop and a special routine that has been created just for "National Dance Day."
