The following activity occurred Monday, May 21, to Sunday, May 27, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 78 response calls during this period

Monday, May 21

•Upper Mountain and Green roads, suspicious person. Caller reported a female came out of woods and was cornered. Patrol reported the woman was a likely suspect from an earlier hit-run accident at Upper Mountain Road and Marywood Drive. Subject identified and reported gone on patrol's arrival.

•200 block of North Ninth Street, larceny/mental health response. Statement taken from a female, 63, regarding a male, 23. Male placed under arrest on the following: petit larceny; criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument; and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Suspect transferred to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center via Rural Metro ambulance. Report filed.

•Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a male (no age listed) for operating while registration is suspended/revoked. Uniform traffic ticket issued. Vehicle towed with no hold. Report filed.

•5200 block of Fort Gray Drive, shooter/fireworks complaint. Male told patrol he thought he heard gunshots. Patrol determined it to be fireworks coming from Canada.

•400 block of Tryon Drive, standby. Patrol on location for removal of items from a house.

•5200 block of Fort Gray Drive, check welfare. Female, 31, reports hearing voices around the house. Negative results on patrol's search.

Tuesday, May 22

•Oriole Lane, suspicious vehicle. Male reported coming home from girlfriend's house. No problems.

•Locations on the 700 block of Powell Lane and on Cayuga Street, separate reports of two-vehicle accidents. Statements taken from the drivers. MV forms issued. Reports filed.

•LPD office, larceny complaint. Report taken regarding an incident on the 40 block of River Walk Drive.

•North Fifth and Oneida streets, suspicious person. Subject taken to an address on the 500 block of Oxbow Lane.

Wednesday, May 23

•Dickersonville and Langdon roads, animal problem. Caller reported a raccoon in a vehicle.

•Bond Lake, suspicious persons. Two males found fishing left the area.

•Military Road, attempt to locate. Caller reported a male slumped over the wheel near a supermarket on the 4200 block of Military Road; vehicle heading northbound. State Police handled.

•5100 block of Garlow Road, assist. Patrol assisted Power Authority security on the whereabouts of the owner of a possibly abandoned vehicle. Owner located; no problems.

•Lewiston Road and Mountain View Drive, two-vehicle accident. Statements taken from the drivers; report filed.

Thursday, May 24

•100 block of South Water Street, DWI/AUO/felony. Patrol spoke with a female, 39, and reported the arrest of a male, 53. Suspect charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation. Arraignment at Porter Town Court. Bail of $5,000/$10,000 assigned and suspect remanded to custody of NCSO. Report filed.

•Niagara University, harassment. Statement taken from a male, 44, and a female, 39, listed as person involved, regarding a female suspect, 28. Investigation to continue.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, fraud. Statement taken from a male, 49, regarding a female, 27, who reportedly wrote checks from the complainant's account. Investigation to continue.

•400 block of Mountain View drive, juvenile problem. Patrol reported NCSO on location for unauthorized possession of marijuana. No further details.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious vehicle. Plate number logged; no problems found.

Friday, May 25

•700 block of Ridge Road, burglary/larceny. Statement taken from a male, 60, regarding a male, 25, and two females (no ages listed) who were all listed as suspects. No further details.

•LPD office, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a male, no age listed, regarding a landscaping business and a complaint that occurred on the 300 block of Oak Street. Investigation to continue.

•4300 block of Dickersonville Road, larceny. Statement taken from a male. 31. Suspect unknown.

•5200 block of Paddock Lane, larceny. Statement taken from a male. Suspect unknown.

•400 block of North Fifth Street, domestic. A male and female, both 43 listed as persons involved. Female left with children; no charges.

•2400 block of Lockport Road, assist. LPD on location with NCSO for a DWI arrest. Female remanded to Niagara County Jail.

•Carrollwood Court, Youngstown, suspicious persons. LPD requested to assist Youngstown Police on a report of juveniles looking into vehicles and running from the scene. Disregarded en route.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, attempt to locate. Patrol spoke with a male, 43, regarding a female, 40. Female returned home later.

•5300 block of Military Road, unwanted person/mental health response. Statement taken from a female, 58, a male suspect, 37. Male placed under arrest for criminal mischief, fourth. Suspect issued an appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court, then released on his own recognizance and taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and a mental health response. Report filed.

Saturday, May 26

•600 block of Cayuga Street, domestic. Patrol listed a male, 27, and a female, 26, as persons involved. Female left for the night. Patrol's report and domestic incident report both filed.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, unwanted party. Statement taken from a male, 26, regarding a male suspect, 28. Warrants requested for the male suspect on charges of violation of a court order and menacing with a baseball bat.

•4500 block of Washington Drive, open burn complaint. Party extinguished flames upon request.

•100 block of South Water Street, unwanted party. Male, intoxicated driven home by friends.

•5900 block of Kline Road, larceny. Statement taken from a male, 51, who reported items taken from vehicles in his driveway.

Sunday, May 27

•800 block of Center Street, assault at a bar/restaurant. Statement taken from a male, 27, regarding a male, 23, who reportedly punched the victim in the left eye. Suspect released on appearance tickets to Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•400 block of Ridge Street, juvenile problem. Patrol advised skateboarders to use the town skate park on Pletcher Road and not the fire hall parking area.

•Water Street, assist. Patrol called to settle a citizen dispute over the pavilion.

•Meadowbrook Drive, suspicious person. Caller reported a male going door-to-door selling raffle tickets. Patrol advised the subject he needed to obtain the proper paperwork from the town.

•Academy Park, suspicious person. Caller reported a female smoking pot. Subject gone on arrival.
