The Grand Island Ministerium will join the "OneHeartCry" initiative, praying for revival, awakening and transformation across New York state the week of June 3 to 9.
Each of seven churches in the Ministerium will participate in 24 hours of prayer one day of that week. Participating churches and the days of their 24-hour prayer are:
•St. Stephen R.C. Church, Sunday, June 3
•St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church, Monday, June 4
•Live, Love Laugh Ministries, Tuesday, June 5
•Island Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, June 6
•Harbor Lights Fellowship, Thursday, June 7 (public prayer meeting from 7 to 9 p.m.)
•Trinity United Methodist Church, Friday, June 8
•St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, Saturday, June 9
The purpose of OneHeartCry is to see revival in the church and spiritual awakening in the communities.
A kickoff prayer service is planned at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2100 Whitehaven Road, for all interested persons on Saturday, June 2, at 2 p.m.
