The Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation's 19th annual Baskets O'Plenty Auction is scheduled for Thursday, March 8, at BPO Elks Lodge No. 346, 1805 Fashion Outlet Blvd., in the Town of Niagara.  All proceeds from the event will benefit individuals in Niagara County with developmental disabilities.

Wegmans, the Town of Niagara Business and Professional Association, Lewiston Service Guild, Tedesco Construction and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority are sponsoring the event. Greater Niagara Newspapers is the media sponsor. There will be many theme baskets - most with a value of $50 or more.

The baskets may be previewed between 4 and 7 p.m. with the program beginning at 7:30 p.m. Guests need not be present to win. Admission tickets, $15 each at the door, include 25 chances for the basket drawings. There will also be a side raffle table of items worth $100 or more. Tickets are six for $5 or 20 for $10.  Extra tickets are 25 for $10 or 75 for $20 and split club tickets are 15 for $10. This year there is also a "Pot O'Gold" basket that features $500 in lottery tickets and cash.  Tickets may be purchased for $5 each or three for $10.  There will also be numerous door prizes throughout the evening, as well as finger foods.

The mission of the Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation is to provide a long-term source of financial support that ensures people with developmental disabilities have opportunities toward independence and integration within the community.
