A Niagara University graduate is publishing a book to help Roman Catholics set their St. Joseph's Day table.

Mary Ann Giordano, a 1986 alumna of NU's College of Hospitality & Tourism Management, is introducing "The Saint Joseph's Day Table Cookbook," which chronicles the history, recipes and traditions of the feast day commemorating the life of Jesus' earthly father.

Giordano, the executive chef at the Creekview Restaurant in Williamsville, collaborated with her father, Paul Giordano, M.D., and Nico Jadok to create the cookbook.

Cookbooks may be purchased at www.BuffaloHeritage.com beginning March 6.

A launch party will take place at Artisan Kitchens and Baths (200 Amherst St., Buffalo) at 6 p.m. on March 6. Cookbooks will be available at the party for $19.95 apiece or $15 pre-sale.

St. Joseph's Day traditionally takes place on March 19.
