Village of Lewiston Welcome Center takes home top design prize

Late last week, the Western New York branch of the American Public Works Association presented the 2011 Project of the Year Award - historical restoration/preservation category - to the Village of Lewiston for the Piper Law Office restoration and transformation into a tourist welcome center.

The APWA is established to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects by recognizing the partnership between the managing agency and participating consultants and contractors.
