Lewiston Police Blotter for Oct. 1, 2011

The following activity occurred Monday, Sept. 19, to Sunday, Sept. 25, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD logged a total of 99 responses during this period.

Monday, Sept. 19

•Tryon-Harper drives area, area check. Patrol checked the area on reports of thrown eggs. All OK; patrol cleared.

•Saunders Settlement Road at Griffin Street, three-vehicle accident. Statements taken from all three drivers; report to follow.

•Creek and Ridge roads, larceny of a sign. Report called in by state Department of Transportation. Patrol unable to locate.

•700 block of Mary Lane, larceny/recovered property. Patrol spoke with a 53-year-old female who reported an unknown person stole a bike from a garage and left another bike on the lawn. A "Black Boss" bike was taken from the property. Report filed.

•5200 block of Lewiston Road, larceny. Statement taken from a female who reported the theft of jewelry and dentures from a nursing home facility. Report filed.

•4600 block of Simmons Road, property damage complaint. Patrol spoke with a female who reported an unknown person damaged a wooden fence over the weekend.

•900 block of Balmer Road, domestic. Male party left for the evening; call handled by Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

•400 block of Mohawk Street, possible violation of a court order. No offense committed.

•1700 block of Mount Hope Road, check for an intoxicated driver. Negative results.

•Lower Mountain and Townline Roads, hit-run accidents. Patrol reported mailbox damage at separate addresses.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

•Academy Park, harassment. Patrol listed a 54-year-old male and a 48-year-old female as victims, and a 56-year-old female as a suspect. Incident report completed.

•Model City Road, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; no injuries or tows. Report filed.

•Unspecified location, vehicle check. Patrol reported the arrest of a 56-year-old male for third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating with a suspended registration. Driver released on appearance tickets; vehicle towed. Report filed.

•Unspecified location, attempt to locate. Patrol reported State Police were handling the search for a grey Toyota Camry. Negative results reported.

•500 block of Mountain View Drive, burglary in progress. NCSO investigating the call.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

•500 block of Fairway Drive, alarm response. Call avoidable; homeowner on location.

•Portage Road at Center Street, officer requested. Patrol reported a possible hit-run. No report.

•Town of Niagara Court, warrant execution. Patrol reported the arrest of a 30-year-old female. Bail of $500/$1,000 assigned and suspect transferred to custody of NCSO.

Thursday, Sept. 22

•Tryon-Harper drives, area check. No problems found.

•Joe Davis Park access road, area check. Patrol investigated tire tracks found going into a wooded area. Nothing found.

•4500 block of Creek Road, Hickory Stick Golf Course, property check. Patrol reported an open door to a registration tent. All otherwise OK.

•1000 block of Swann Road, alarm. Alarm received from the Wedding Chapel complex at Our Lady of Fatima. Key holder on location; all OK.

•Saunders Settlement and Garlow roads, reckless driver. Caller reported a green Buick passing school buses. Vehicle gone on patrol's arrival.

•EM-Star at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center, check welfare. Caller reported a 24-year-old female walked out of the ER. Area checked with negative results.

•Printup and Chew roads, one vehicle injury accident/rollover. Statement taken from the driver; vehicle towed.

•Locations on the 700 block of Center Street and on Indian Hill Road, separate reports of two-car accidents. Statements taken from all drivers; reports filed.

•800 block of Jefferson's Way, possible attempted burglary. Statement taken from a 38-year-old female; a 19-year-old male was listed as a person involved. Patrol reports observing a split door jam of the front door leading to the apartment. Complainant reported nothing was found missing from the residence. Report filed.

Friday, Sept. 23

•800 block of Cayuga Street, alarm response. Patrol spoke with a 45-year-old male; alarm malfunction reported. Key holder on location.

•1100 block of Jarrett Drive, harassment. Patrol spoke with a 57-year-old female who did not wish to press charges.

•900 block of Center Street, larceny. Statement taken from a 54-year-old female regarding an 18-year-old female. Charges are pending.

•2900 block of Upper Mountain Road, robbery complaint. Statement taken from a 37-year-old female regarding a 32-year-old male. Complainant alleges the suspect stole $120 and 100 hydrocodone pills from her. No charges wished.

•400 block of Center Street, lost property report. A 30-year-old female reported she lost her purse at a bar/restaurant. Contents included the woman's driver's license and military ID.

•5300 block of Military Road, disorderly conduct. Male reported attempting to leave Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Patrol spoke with the subject reported all OK.

•500 block of Mountain View Drive, suspicious person. Caller reported a suspicious person with a flashlight near the golf course. Negative results on patrol's search.

•800 block of Pletcher Road, domestic. Patrol spoke with a 29-year-old female regarding a 30 year-old male. Male left in a red vehicle; negative results on patrol's search.

Saturday, Sept. 24

•800 block of Cayuga Street, separate alarm responses at a gas/convenience business. All secure. Key holder on location.

•Cayuga Street, vehicle check/DWI. Patrol reported the arrest of a 35-year-old male for driving while intoxicated. Blood alcohol content testing performed. Result was .13 of 1 percent blood alcohol content. Bail of $250 assigned; suspect remanded to Niagara County Jail and 12-hour hold placed on vehicle. Report filed.

•4600 block of Creek Road, juvenile problem/criminal mischief. Caller reported juveniles pulling mailboxes out of the ground at different addresses. NCSO handled the call and filed the reports.

•Washington Drive and Oriole Lane, recovered bike. Patrol reports a black "Boss Cruiser" bicycle possibly linked to an earlier larceny found on the side of the road with its chain cut off. Message left with the owner.

•5300 block of George Street, larceny complaint. Statement taken from a 59-year-old male; report filed.

Sunday, Sept. 25

•100 block of Portage Street, intoxicated male/public lewdness. Patrol reported the arrest of a male on said charge. Suspect released on an appearance ticket to Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Center and North Sixth streets, intoxicated females. Subjects reported their car and keys were lost; patrol provided both a ride home to a Powell Lane address. Patrol located the vehicle later at a bar/restaurant parking lot on Cayuga Street and notified the owner.

•900 block of Escarpment Drive, burglary. Patrol reports four juveniles entered the home and caused minor damage. Patrol secured two of four bicycles on location. Investigation to continue.

•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, counterfeit currency at a gas/convenience business. Currency secured and receipt given. Report filed.

•900 block of Center Street, separate larcenies at a supermarket business. Patrol reported the arrest of a 17-year-old female on follow-up to an earlier incident and the arrest of a 32-year-old male. Appearance tickets for Lewiston Town Court issued to both suspects. Reports filed.

•Creek Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the arrest of a 45-year-old male for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed; report filed.
