Parent Network of WNY is offering "Skills for Effective Parent Advocacy," a free workshop for families of individuals with disabilities. The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 13 at Independent Living Center of Niagara County, 746 Portage Road, Niagara Falls.
In this workshop parents or guardians of children with special needs will learn the skills and obtain the information and resources needed to successfully advocate for their child's needs.
