Summer break is over, and it's back to the classroom for students in the Niagara-Wheatfield Central School District on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
"I want to wish everybody a great opening of school. We're looking forward to a very productive and successful school year at Niagara-Wheatfield," Superintendent Carl Militello said this week, noting he wants to continue the school district's tradition of pride and excellent work.
The first day of school will be followed by the first board of education meeting of the school year at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in the Adult Learning Center at the high school.
