Kelsey Wielgosz of Sanborn has been awarded the ElderWood Senior Care Mary S. and Robert R. Chur Scholarship. She is the daughter of Angela Wielgosz, housekeeping supervisor at ElderWood Crestwood Commons independent living community in Wheatfield. Kelsey also is a member of the Sanborn Fire Co.
A 2011 graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School, she is enrolled at Daemen College, where she is pursuing a nursing degree.
ElderWood staff members and their families who are entering or continuing their education at the college level are eligible for the annual scholarship award.
