Niagara County Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shops have created a distinctive sprinkled doughnut to help raise funds for Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara.

The "Opportunities Unlimited Doughnut" is a traditional vanilla dip doughnut topped with blue and white sprinkles to represent OUN's signature colors.

The doughnut will be available Aug. 1 to 7 at Tim Hortons locations in Wheatfield, Town of Niagara, Niagara Falls, Lockport and North Tonawanda. It retails for 85 cents and 100 percent of the profits from each sold will go directly to OUN.

"The Niagara Falls community has been so supportive to me and to my restaurants, it made perfect sense to give back to a local organization that provides assistance and support to those of Niagara County who need it," said Bob Burns, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop owner.

Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara provides programs and services to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
