The Historic Riviera Theatre presents a trio of '80s musical acts this summer.

The Human League with Men Without Hats

Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Hailing from Sheffield, England, The Human League is a synth-pop group, mainly successful in the 1980s with hits such as "Don't You Want Me," "(Keep Feeling) Fascination" and "Human." These songs were popular not just in the U.S. and U.K., but all over the world.

Men Without Hats achieved its greatest popularity in the early to mid-1980s with its most successful single, "The Safety Dance," a Top 10 hit in the U.S. and the U.K., as well as other countries. The band's other big success was the 1987 hit "Pop Goes the World."

Tickets are priced at $27 and $32 (plus handling fees).

"Who's Bad" The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute

Friday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m.

Whether you idolized the Jackson 5, fell in love to "Off the Wall," or memorized all of "Thriller's" creepy choreography, "Who's Bad" is an authentic, music-driven, must-see night of entertainment that navigates you back to that special place.

As the curtain opens on a "Who's Bad" performance, even the most skeptical Michael Jackson fan feels the excitement rising, screams at the sight of that unmistakable silhouette, and succumbs to a surefire MJ sing-along. The energy is magnetic, the musicianship is first-class, and the dance moves exhilarating.

The high-octane execution of MJ's hits in "Who's Bad" is a homage befitting the "King of Pop."

Ticket prices are $20 (adult) and $10 (children ages 10 and under).
