It's showtime at the Niagara County Fair, Aug. 3 to 7, for any student, between the ages of 8 and 19, living in Niagara County.  Youth exhibit categories are listed in the Niagara County Fair Premium Book located online at www.cceniagaracounty.org, or a hard copy may be obtained at the Fairgrounds Office at 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport.

"Last year, Barker and Wilson schools displayed items from their art, family and consumer science and technology classes. We hope other schools will join them this year to showcase their projects," said Fair Committee member Linda Conlin.

Individual student and group projects that have been completed under the supervision of parents, 4-H and youth group leaders and/ or teachers that meet the exhibit guidelines are eligible. Exhibit categories include arts and crafts, photography, clothing, foods and nutrition, home improvement, flower and vegetable gardening, small and large animals, electric, woodworking, science and technology.

Groups of students who are interested in promoting their school club, sport or activity with an exhibit or performance should contact Darlene Farnham at 433-8839, ext. 224, as soon as possible to arrange for space on the fairgrounds or on the stage.
