Lewiston resident Keith M. Fox announced his intention this week to run for a seat on the Lewiston-Porter Board of Education in the May 17 elections. Fox, a former Lew-Port School Board member and board president, bowed out of running in the Lew-Port board elections last year, citing health reasons.
"I am pleased to announce that I will be again be seeking a seat on the Lewiston-Porter School District Board of Education. As you may know, I withdrew last year due to ill health. I ended up in the hospital in July. I now feel the best I have in several years and feel that I can provide 100 percent service to the Lewiston-Porter community."
"I feel I offer a great deal of experience, both on the board and in life, that is valuable to the district in these very stressful times," Fox added.
