The following activity occurred Monday, Jan. 24, to Sunday, Jan. 30, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 83 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, Jan. 24

•4600 block of West Park Drive, welfare check of a male juvenile. Patrol spoke with the boy's father who said he would handle it. Patrol not involved at this time.

•400 block of Main Street in Youngstown, assist. Patrol on location with Niagara County Sheriff's Office for an unwanted party. Situation addressed.

•500 block of Main Street in Youngstown, assist. Patrol on location with Niagara County Sheriffs Office for a welfare check. A 41-year-old male reportedly was disorderly. NCSO addressing an obstruction issue; LPD cleared.

•5900 block of Kline Road, two alarm responses at the same address. First response, patrol called off. Second response, key holder on location and all secure.

•Unspecified location, follow-up arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 37-year-old female on follow-up from an earlier larceny complaint at a nursing home facility on the 700 block of Fairchild Place. Two appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Unspecified location, follow-up to a criminal mischief investigation. Patrol's investigation to continue.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, attempt to locate. Patrol reports negative results on its attempt to locate a 24-year-old female for NCSO.

•1300 block of Upper Mountain Road, suspicious vehicle. Patrol spoke with a 74-year-old male and reported negative results on its search of two snowmobiles in the area. Unknown persons at this time.

Tuesday, Jan. 25

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, unwanted person. Patrol reported the unwanted party was gone on its arrival.

•1900 block of Upper Mountain Road, AED response. Patrol reported Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on location for a male with chest pains.

•5600 block of Marywood Drive, burglary report. Statement taken from a 54-year-old who reported the residence was entered through the garage and three rings were taken. NCSO ID Unit on location. Report filed.

•Upper Mountain and Indian Hill roads, one vehicle accident. Statement taken from the driver; vehicle towed. Report filed.

•1300 block of Ridge Road, alarm response. All secure.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, harassment. Statement taken from a 23-year-old male regarding a 27-year-old male. Investigation to continue.

Wednesday, Jan. 26

•2000 block of Ridge Road, unattended death of an 86-year-old female. No further details.

•2600 block of Ridge Road, two-vehicle fatal accident. Patrol reported the fatality of a 35-year-old male. Report filed.

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, stolen vehicle. Statement taken from a 62-year-old female. Keys were reportedly left in the car; plate number logged. Report filed.

•1000 block of Escarpment Drive, 911 hang-up check. Patrol reported the residence as secure and the homeowner gone.

•4000 block of Calkins Road, check-the-welfare. Patrol responded to an "Are You OK?" system check and reported no problems.

•4000 block of Creek Road, reckless driver. Plate number logged; suspect gone on patrol's arrival.

•5700 block of Kline Road, check welfare/possible structure fire. Area checked with negative results.

•4000 block of Creek Road, juvenile problem complaint. Patrol spoke with a 30-year-old female. No further details.

•100 block of South Sixth Street, robbery. Statement taken from a 57-year-old female who reported that an unknown suspect approached her, asking to help with her groceries then grabbed her purse and ran. The woman's purse and cell phone were located at Center Street and Portage Road. The suspect was described at a white mail, 5 foot, 11 inches, weighing 210 pounds, and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with a scarf/mask, and possibly driving a station wagon.

•700 block of Fairchild Place, check situation at a nursing home facility. Patrol located a 47-year-old male who stated he wanted to talk to his wife but the staff would not allow him inside. Situation resolved by patrol.

Thursday, Jan. 27

•Walmore Road, disabled vehicle. Patrol located a 52-year-old male and drove him to a Mount Hope Road address. Vehicle removed.

•4500 block of Washington Drive, suspicious person. Patrol located the subject who delivering newspapers.

•2100 block of Landgon Road, property check/suspicious activity. Homeowner reported finding footprints around the house. Patrol determined the footprints were from meter readers in the area; no other problems.

•4700 block of Lower River Road, alarm response. Residence secure; no key holder. Call avoidable; report filed.

•2200 block of Upper Mountain Road, unwanted party. Suspect gone on patrol's arrival; all secure. No report requested.

•1800 block of Upper Mountain Road, recovered stolen property. Patrol reports recovering a Polaris Trail Blazer ATV.

•I-190 and the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; report filed.

•Ridge Road and Big Vista Drive, car-deer accident. Statement taken from the driver; report filed.

Friday, Jan. 28

•Escarpment Drive, check area for a vehicle in a ditch. Vehicle located on the 900 block; owner making arrangements.

•2200 block of Upper Mountain Road, burglary follow-up. Patrol to obtain a video of the incident.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious persons complaint of two individuals with black masks in the area. Negative results on patrol's search.

•2100 block of Adams Circle. Patrol spoke with two males, ages 42 and 41 years old. Domestic Incident Report filed and patrol's investigation to continue.

Saturday, Jan. 29

•Robert Moses Parkway, reckless driver. Patrol reported the driver was lost; all otherwise OK.

•800 block of Oriole Lane, overdose. Patrol reported Lewiston No. 1 on location to transport a 21-year-old male to Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

•800 block of Center Street, suspicious vehicle. Patrol reports an employee inside the store was busy with paperwork.

•200 block of Lockport Street, assist. Patrol requested by Youngstown Police for a suspicious vehicle. All OK; call disregarded.

•Upper Mountain and Indian Hill roads, disabled vehicle. NCSO on location.

•2100 block of Bedell Road, arrest attempt. Negative results reported.

•3600 block of Hyde Park Boulevard, assist. Patrol on location with State Police on a call of male who fled a vehicle after a traffic stop. Suspect arrested; no further details.

•Garlow, Saunders Settlement roads, check-the-welfare. Patrol reported three vehicles roadside; battery issues noted.

•1100 block of Saunders Settlement Road, standby. Patrol on location while parties discussed a custody issue. No problems reported.

•700 block of Center Street, vehicle check. Patrol reported the arrest of a 47-year-old male for driving while intoxicated. Blood alcohol content request refused. Driver arraigned at Lewiston Town Court; bail assigned at $2,500/$5,000. Suspect remanded to custody of NCSO.

•400 block of Harper Drive, one vehicle accident. Driver to file report.

•Saunders Settlement Road, reckless driver. No problems with the driver; patrol cleared.

•4600 block of Creek Road, harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 21-year-old female regarding a 53-year-old female. Report filed.

•100 block of South Seventh Street, drug overdose. Patrol reported a 38-year-old female was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on a mental health response by Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. ambulance.

•4400 block of Model City Road, domestic. Patrol spoke with a 42-year-old male regarding a 42-year-old female listed as a suspect. Report filed.

•1600 block of Ridge Road, check-the-welfare. Female advised patrol she had dropped off a male who was highly intoxicated and was unable to make contact. No further details.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, domestic. Patrol spoke with a 51-year-old female and a 52-year-old male. Report filed.

Sunday, Jan. 30

•Lewiston Road, DWI arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 22-year-old male for Driving While Intoxicated and refusal to take a breath-screening test. Uniform traffic tickets issued and Lewiston Town Court date assigned. Report filed.

•100 block of Portage Road, public lewdness arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 21-year-old male on said charge. Subject released on an appearance ticket for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•Center and Ninth streets, vehicle check. Patrol reported the arrest of a 19-year-old male for third degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a vehicle while the registration was suspended/revoked, and having an uninspected motor vehicle. Report filed.

•900 block of Center Street, suspicious vehicle. Patrol reported a subject as waiting for a ride home from work; all OK.

•LPD follow-up. Patrol reported the arrest of a 21-year-old female from an earlier incident. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

•300 block of South Fifth Street, assist EMS. Patrol reported Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. on location on an AED/medical response.

•5900 block of Hermitage Road, prowler complaint. Patrol spoke with a 58-year-old male who reported footprints in the snow in the backyard. No damage or entry found.

•500 block of Mohawk Street, check welfare. Patrol spoke with a 27-year-old female and a 23-year-old female. All parties OK.

•North Ninth Street, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reports issuing uniform traffic tickets with a return Lewiston Town Court date to a 19-year-old male for a having a suspended vehicle registration. Vehicle secured and towed, but no hold placed. Report filed.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, unwanted party. Subject gone on patrol's arrival; no other problems. Patrol cleared.

•900 block of Center Street, custody dispute. Children exchanged without incident.

•Unspecified location, assist. Patrol assisted NCSD on a warrant execution with negative results. Patrol cleared.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a male regarding another male and an order of protection. No OP violation found.

•600 block of Raymond Drive, criminal mischief. A male advised patrol of a glass bottle found broken at the end of his driveway.
