For most people, celebrating a birthday means receiving gifts. But at "Lou's" Pete's Market House on Pine Avenue, the Taylor family is celebrating the restaurant's 39th birthday by giving the community a gift, instead.

From Nov. 14-16, patrons and guests can take advantage of a dozen specially priced menu items. From a $2.50 shrimp cocktail appetizer to a $3.99 spaghetti and meatball dinner, a $9.99 strip steak with three sides to a $2.75 strawberry-topped cheesecake, diners have an assortment of low-priced lunch and dinner options.

Pete's Market House is located at 1701 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. The restaurant is open seven days a week. Hours for the anniversary special are noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 11:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Tuesday. For a reservation, call 282-7225.
