The following activity occurred Monday, Oct. 25, to Sunday, Oct. 31, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. A total of 103 calls were answered by LPD during this period.

Monday, Oct. 25

  • 2800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious persons. Caller reported two males standing in the back yard. Negative results reported on patrol's search.
  • 2700 block of Saunders Settlement Road, building check. Open window found in the rear of West Street Elementary School. Key holder on location.
  • 4100 block of Dana drive, patrol on standby for property pickup, without incident.
  • 500 block of Mountain View Drive, burglary alarm. Accidental trip reported.
  • Walmore Road at the "S" curves, one car accident. Statement taken from the driver; report field.

Tuesday, Oct. 26

  • Saunders Settlement Road, intoxicated female walking in the roadway. Patrol reports releasing a 22-year-old female to a family member at an address on the 5000 block of Susies Lane. Patrol cleared.
  • 800 block of Pletcher Road, loud music complaint. Patrol spoke with a 29-year-old female; no further details, report filed.
  • 5900 block of Riverview Avenue, fraud complaint. Statement taken from a 26-year-old male regarding a male suspect. Report filed.
  • Lewiston Hill Road, two-car injury accident. Statements taken from the drivers; report filed.
  • 700 block of Center Street, alarm response at a bank branch. All secure.
  • 800 block of Hillside Drive, aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 25-year-old male regarding a male suspect. No charges at the time; call handled by patrol.
  • 4900 block of Creek Road Extension, unwanted party. Patrol spoke with a 21-year-old male and reported all OK. The subject left without incident.
  • 2200 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road, assist. Patrol assisted Niagara County Sheriff's Department with a suspicious person ringing doorbells. Area checked with negative results.

Wednesday, Oct. 27

  • 4600 block of Military Road, assist. Patrol assisted Town of Niagara Police on a suspicious vehicle call. Two males were taken into custody for stealing scrap metal from a business. TNPD handled the arrest.
  • 2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, counterfeit currency complaint at a gas station/convenience store. Statement taken from a 26-year-old male regarding a 59-year-old male suspect. Report filed.
  • Unspecified location, aggravated harassment complaint. Statement taken from a 31-year-old male regarding some threatening messages sent on Facebook.com. Report filed.
  • 1400 block of Ridge Road, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; report filed.
  • Center and Ninth streets, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers. No injuries; one vehicle towed. Report filed.
  • Unspecified location, assist. Patrol assisted NCSD on a K-9 track of a 17-year-old male juvenile from a Royalton address. Subject located at another location and track terminated.
  • 5200 block of Green Road, stolen vehicle. Statement taken from a 59-year-old male. Plate number logged and vehicle located on Garlow Road and towed. Investigation to continue. Report filed.
  • 2800 block of Ridge Road, standby. Party at the residence refused access. Situation resolved.
  • Saunders Settlement and Tuscarora roads, two-car accident. Statements taken from both drivers; no injuries or tows. Report filed.

Thursday, Oct. 28

  • 700 block of Center Street, disturbing the peace. Parties advised.
  • 2300 block of Printup Road, property damage accident. Patrol reported vehicle No. 1 was towed, plate number logged, and the other driver left the scene. Report filed.
  • 2300 block of Printup Road, recovered stolen vehicle. Patrol reported vehicle No. 1 (listed above) as stolen out of Wilson. Report filed.
  • Walmore and Mount Hope roads, located intoxicated driver. Patrol reports locating a 23-year-old male linked to both above calls at the Printup Road address. Subject taken into custody and arraigned at Lewiston Town Court on numerous charges (unspecified). Bail of $1,000/$2,000 assigned and driver remanded to custody of NCSD. Report filed.
  • 2300 block of Ridge Road, aggravated harassment. Statement taken from a 57-year-old male regarding an unknown suspect. Investigation to continue.
  • 2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, petit larceny. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female resulting in the in the arrest of a 21-year-old female. Appearance ticket issued and suspect released on her own recognizance. Report filed.
  • Lewiston Hill Road, reckless driver. Caller reported a vehicle going the wrong way. Area checked with negative results.
  • 800 block of Center Street, unwanted party at a bar/restaurant. Statement taken from a 45-year-old female regarding a male. Report filed.
  • Unspecified location, follow-up. Patrol on follow-up to an earlier fight at a bar/restaurant on the 800 block of Center Street, reported two male suspects, ages 26 and 28 years old. Both arraigned at Lewiston Town Court and released on their own recognizance.

Friday, Oct. 29

  • Niagara University, Seton Hall, unwanted person. Patrol assisted NU campus security with a non-student who refused to leave. Individual subsequently left without incident.
  • NU, Seton Hall, intoxicated female, disorderly. Patrol reports a 19-year-old female was transported to EMStar at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center by Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS.
  • 4900 block of Tuscarora Road, check-welfare. Patrol reports assisting TNPD with an individual attempting suicide.
  • 2600 block of New Road, assist. Patrol on location with NCSD to address a domestic incident at the address.
  • 200 block of Elliot Street in Youngstown, assist. Patrol on location with State Police responded to a call of a male subject who was attempting to shoot his parents and harm himself. No further information.
  • 500 block of Riverwalk Drive, burglary alarm. Accidental trip reported.
  • 200 block of South Third Street, larceny from a vehicle. Statement taken from a male; report filed.
  • Unspecified location, arrest. Patrol reports a warrant for arrest was executed on a 38-year-old male; charge not specified. Bail posted.
  • 800 block of Pletcher Road, neighbor problem. Patrol advised both individuals to stay clear of one another.
  • Creek Road, reckless driver. Subject located at home on the 4600 block of Creek Road; no problems reported.
  • 600 block of Mountain View Drive and 800 block of Country Club Trail, separate alarm responses. Both locations secure.

Saturday, Oct. 30

  • 5200 block of Green Road, unwanted party. Caller reported an intoxicated male on the front porch. Subject left prior to patrol's arrival.
  • 5100 block of Garlow Road, alarm response at a gas station/convenience store. Call accidental; employee on site.
  • Lower River Road, car-bike hit-run accident. Statement taken from a 41-year-old male; vehicle involved reported as an unknown green Jeep. Report filed.
  • 5300 block of Military Road, violation of a court order. Statement taken from a 39-year-old female regarding a 41-year-old male. Investigation to continue.
  • Saunders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop. Patrol reported the pullover/arrest of a 62-year-old male for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Uniform traffic ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
  • 900 block of Center Street, shoplifter complaint at a supermarket. Statement taken regarding a female suspect. Investigation to continue.

  • 100 block of South Fourth Street, check welfare. Patrol listed a 49-year-old female and a 43-year-old male in its report. Monroe County Sheriff's Department made contact; no further details.
  • 2100 block of Ridge Road, criminal mischief complaint. Statement taken from a 63-year-old female who reported a mailbox knocked down. Report filed.
  • LPD office, arrest. Patrol reported the arrest of a 21-year-old female from an earlier shoplifting complaint at a supermarket on the 900 block of Center Street. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.

Suspect also found to have an active warrant for first-degree reckless endangerment. Suspect arraigned at Lewiston Town Court, bail of $1,000/$2,000 assigned, and suspect remanded to NCSD custody.
