The following activity occurred Monday, May 10, to Friday, May 14, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department.

Monday, May 10

  • Alarm response at a business on the 700 block of Center Street. All secure.
  • Patrol reports following up on an earlier Raymond Drive animal problem call with a 58-year-old male. No further details.
  • Patrol reported the arrest of a 22-year-old male from a harassment complaint at a Saunders Settlement Road gas/convenience business. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report filed.
  • Suspicious vehicle on Green Road. Patrol reports securing a 2004 Ford van found at that location. A 41-year-old male was listed as a missing person from the call. Report filed.
  • Patrol reports contacting a male and advising him to have no contact with another male. No report.
  • Patrol reported the arrest of a 22-year-old male for third degree criminal mischief, stemming from an earlier complaint on the 1400 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Appearance tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court.
  • Mother-son domestic problem on the 4700 block of Lauren Court. A Niagara County Sheriff's deputy on location and filed the report.

Tuesday, May 11

  • Larceny complaint of a pedestrian sign at Center and Seventh Streets received from the Village of Lewiston. Report filed.
  • Larceny complaint on the 1900 block of Saunders Settlement Road. Statement taken from a 73-year-old male who reported tires and rims taken. Report filed.
  • Patrol reports locating the 41-year-old male from the Monday suspicious vehicle call on Green Road. Location not reported; all secure.
  • Residential burglary alarm on the 500 block of Pletcher Road. All secure; report filed.

  • EMS assist call on the 5200 block of Paddock Lane. Patrol assisted with an elderly female who fell down the stairs. Upper Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on location.
  • Possible harassment call on the 2700 block of Moore Road. Statement taken from a female regarding a male party. Patrol reported a follow-up visit and statement taken. Investigation continuing.
  • Suspicious activity on the 600 block of Cayuga Street. Statement taken from a 21-year-old male regarding an unknown suspect.

Friday, May 14

  • Car deer accident on Townline Road. No injuries, no tow. Deer dispatched by patrol.
  • Reckless driver complaint heading south on Lewiston Road. Patrol assisted State Police on the call.
  • Welfare check on the 4700 block of Stacey Drive. Patrol unable to gain entry; resident not home.
  • Sexual touching complaint at Niagara University. Statement taken from a 20-year-old female regarding a 20-year-old male. Investigation to continue.
  • Domestic problem at a restaurant on the 2900 block of Upper Mountain Road. Statement taken from a 47-year-old male concerning a 36-year-old female. Report filed.
