MSM recognizes 3 for community contributions

Mount St. Mary's Hospital held a special event attended by more than 200, and recognized three local groups for their contributions to the community.

The Niagara Military Affairs Council, the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston and the Niagara University School of Nursing were recognized at the event, which was coordinated by the Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, the St. Francis Guild Auxiliary and the hospital's board of associates volunteers

NIMAC was saluted for its efforts, which, since 1995, have bridged the communication needs between the military at the Niagara Falls Area Reserve Station and the local community.

The Lewiston Kiwanis Club was recognized for its year-round programming to help those in need in the community.

The NU School of Nursing was saluted for its continued excellence in the education and training of nurses.
