AAA career fair seeks roadside assistance drivers, contact center associates, tow truck drivers & driving instructors

AAA Western and Central New York is holding a career fair for candidates interested in full-time roadside assistance, tow truck driver, customer service representative and in-car driving instructor positions. Those interested can stop by for an on-the-spot interview and are encouraged to apply online prior to attending the career fair for a speedier process.

The fair runs from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 100 International Drive, Amherst.

In-car driving instructors involves the delivery of the licensed to learn curriculum to novice drivers in a classroom and behind-the-wheel setting on weeknights and/or weekends. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a clean and valid New York state driver's license. A background check will be performed (including DMV).

Roadside assistance driver performs tire service/change, lockout service, fuel service, battery replacement, etc., as necessary. Drivers also provide repairs, when appropriate, to make the vehicle drivable.

Tow truck driver ensures member safety and vehicle security; educates members on possible issues; provides boost, jump starts, flat tire replacement and vehicle entry; tows disabled vehicles to repair facilities or other member requested destinations; promotes AAA/CAA products and services; and ensures complete resolution of member issues.

Contact center associate provides outstanding customer service by answering membership and roadside assistance calls. Candidates must possess solid customer service, communication and telephone skills, and must be proficient with computers and be able to navigate multiple screens.
