The outdoor skating rink at DeVeaux Woods State Park is now open. Reservoir State Park's rink should be ready within the week.

Both rinks will be open weather pending and are free for the public to use.

Skate rentals are not available and hockey is prohibited, as it ruins the ice surface.

The hours of operation for both rinks are as follows:

DeVeaux Woods

  • Sundays-Thursdays: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Fridays and Saturdays: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Reservoir (once open)

  • Sunday-Thursday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

When the rink at Reservoir is closed, the winter pavilion will remain open from 11 a.m. until dusk.

The rink at Deveaux was created by a partnership between the City of Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region of New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The Reservoir rink was built during reconstruction of the park, which was completed by the New York State Power Authority.
