US Olympic Committee to deliver online coverage at TeamUSA.org

Jason Knapp and 13-time Paralympic medalist and Paralympic Hall of Fame member Chris Waddell will host NBCSN's coverage of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games closing ceremony, being held at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this Sunday, Sept. 18 (10:30 p.m. ET).

In addition to NBCSN's telecast of the closing ceremony, the United States Olympic Committee will stream coverage on TeamUSA.org.

Carolyn Manno, NBC Sports Group's Rio 2016 Paralympic Games host, will open the telecast on Sunday night. The closing ceremony will feature the pageantry and local flavor of host country Brazil, as well as the parade of flags and athletes from countries that participated in the 2016 Paralympic Games. The show will also highlight the official handover from Rio to Tokyo and look ahead to the 2020 Paralympic Games in Japan's capital city. The ceremony culminates with the extinguishing of the Paralympic flame and a final celebratory dance party.

Rio 2016 marks Waddell's second closing ceremony assignment, and the first for Knapp. Waddell is currently working his second Paralympic Games assignment as a track and field analyst for NBC Sports Group, and Knapp is serving as a play-by-play commentator for swimming events. Manno, who has worked two prior Paralympic Games for NBC Sports Group, is anchoring studio coverage of the closing ceremony for the first time.

In addition to the closing ceremony on NBCSN, NBC Sports Group's coverage this weekend is highlighted by semifinal and medal round events in swimming, track and field, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and sitting volleyball.

Coverage on Friday begins at 8 p.m. on NBCSN will include medal round events in swimming, track and field, women's wheelchair basketball, as well as men's sitting volleyball semifinal action and wheelchair rugby preliminary round matches.

Rio 2016 Paralympic Games coverage continues Saturday at 1 a.m. on NBCSN, with the women's wheelchair basketball bronze medal game and more wheelchair rugby preliminary action.

NBC Sports Group's Rio 2016 Paralympic Games competition coverage culminates Sunday at 3 p.m. on NBC, with medal round events for wheelchair rugby and men's sitting volleyball.
