'The Chew' celebrates America's best dishes, building a better breakfast and fast family favorites

Next week on ABC's "The Chew," co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Daphne Oz share mouth-watering recipes and simple, yet impressive, crafts. In a weeklong series, "Roughin' it with Roble," chef Roble Ali travels across the country to get his hands dirty, working with fresh ingredients at the source of deliciousness, with stops in Washington, Florida, New York and Vermont.

Listings for March 7-11 (subject to change; weekdays 1 p.m. EST on ABC) are as follows:

Monday, March 7 - "Fast Family Favorites" - Michael demonstrates a quick and delicious rigatoni with chicken and feta. Adults and children alike will love Clinton's recipe for pork tenderloin with peanut satay. Roble Ali travels to Coupeville, Washington, to harvest mussels and teams up with Daphne to make a tantalizing mussel fennel soup.

Tuesday, March 8 - "Build a Better Breakfast" - Carla makes biscuit waffles with sausage gravy; Michael unveils a green bloody Mary, and Roble travels to Ocoee, Florida, to see the Lake Meadows Natural Farm and spend a day learning all about the egg business. Daphne and select "Chew" viewers show how to upgrade a breakfast bar.

Wednesday, March 9 - "Surprisingly Simple Sweets" - Mario has three twists on one dessert when he amps up his flaming chocolate hazelnut ricotta crepes - from simple to special to spectacular. Roble visits an orange grove in Clermont, Florida, and Michael creates a citrus granita inspired by that visit. Carla teaches "Baking 101," showing the secret to perfect chocolate chip cookies.

Thursday, March 10 - "America's Best Dishes" - Regional dishes that make America great! Clinton makes the perfect Long Island iced tea, Mario creates a savory white fish melt inspired by Roble Ali's visit to a Brooklyn smokehouse. Carla demonstrates southern-spiced layer cake, and Michael's chili cheese dog casserole will win raves at your table.

Friday, March 11 - "Ask the Chew!" - All hour long, the co-hosts answer viewer questions. Mario makes calamari with garlic chili sauce in just 60 seconds, and Clinton reveals how to create paper photo lanterns in a few easy steps. Roble Ali visits dairies in Woodstock and Grafton, Vermont, to learn how cheese is made.
